Grindeks has purchased a 92,584 sqm plot in Riga from Latvia’s State Real Estate company. The plot, which is located at Krustpils street 63 in the Latgale suburb was purchased at auction for €886,500. The location of the site was key to the purchase, as Gringeks headquarters are located close by on Krustpils street. The company plans to develop its own innovation centre, which will include manufacturing units, modern laboratories and a logistics center. The development is part of the company’s strategy to increase production capacity. Grindeks is an international pharmaceutical company that focuses on the research, development and manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
