The average gross monthly wage on the Romanian market was RON 2,874 in June, up 0.7 percent m-o-m, according to data published by the Romanian National Statistics Institute (INS). Average net salary was RON 2,078, up from the previous month by RON 15.
Average net nominal earning increased by 14.3 percent y-o-y, according to the data. The highest average net salaries were reported in the IT sector at RON 5,295, while the lowest were reported in the hotel and restaurant sectors at RON 1,251.
