The Romanian insurer Groupama Asigurari has expanded the roles of two of its directors.
Calin Matei, deputy general director, and director of the technical division of Life and Bancassurance, will also head the technical division of Non-life and Reassurance. Georgiana Miron, director of communication and public relations, will head the company’s marketing and communication division.
Groupama Asigurari is the fourth largest insurer in Romania and registered RON 373m (€84m) in gross written premiums in the first half of 2012, a 6.4 percent increase from 2011.
