Gruner has new production plant in Serbia

German company Gruner has opened a new production plant in Vlasotince in an investment valued at €6.5m, including a €3.2m contribution from the Serbian state. The plant will be turning out plastic parts, with metal parts production due to start soon. Initially, the new plant will employ 50 people and another 50 are expected to be hired by 2020. Gruner currently employs 480 people in Serbia. The new factory’s design included a workshop for students from the Technical School in Vlasotince. Gruner, which also has production units in Tunisia and India, established its Serbian presence in 2007.
