The municipality Vlasotince in southern Serbia has given Gruner an 8,186 sqm parcel of land worth €85,000. The German company, which manufacturers components for the automotive industry, is planning to develop a new production facility on the site. The state previously gave Gruner around €800,000 to expand its capacities and employ an additional 200 people by the end of 2022. In 2017, Gruner opened a production plant in Vlasotince in an investment valued at €6.5m, including a €3.2m contribution from the Serbian state.
