GTC puts Galleria Mall Buzau on the market

24 March 2015

Globe Trade Centre (GTC) has put Galleria Mall Buzau on the market again. GTC originally tried to sell its commercial centers in Suceava, Piatra Neamt and Buzau in 2013, citing low profits. However, the company was only able to sell the mall in Suceava. According to a financial report released this week, GTC’s entire portfolio is now valued at about €1.3bn. The report revealed that its Romanian properties make up 15 percent of the company’s total assets, with its Romanian retail projects falling in value from €35.1m to €8.5m y-o-y.
GTC Romania’s portfolio includes City Gate in Bucharest’s Piata Presei district, a 10,000 sqm plot, the Rose Garden and FeliCity residential projects and three commercial centers under the Galleria brand in Arad, Buzau and Piatra Neamt.
