Globe Trade Center (GTC) will acquire the Váci Greens D office building in Budapest. The transaction will be partially financed with funds raised through the issue of green bonds at the end of 2020, the company said.

Looking for new market opportunities, we decided to acquire the Váci Greens D office building, which complements the Hungarian portfolio of the group and also meets our requirements for modern and sustainable A-class projects. our strategy, offering tenants the highest quality and safety standards, which are particularly desirable during a pandemic “- commented President Yovav Carmi.
The new acquisition, the Váci Greens D building, offers 16,027 sqm of modern space that meets the tenants’ highest requirements in terms of comfort in everyday work and amenities in the office space, such as an attractive terrace space, 246 parking spaces available to tenants, as well as numerous restaurants and points commercial and service, also given.
The building is part of an office complex located in the Vaci “office corridor” in Budapest. The office building acquired by GTC is almost fully leased by such tenants as Unilever, AVON and Ford.
“Thanks to the purchase of the Váci Greens D building, the Hungarian branch of GTC manages 88,400 sqm of modern office space, which includes such recognisable projects as Center Point, Duna Tower and GTC Metro. In addition, Pillar, a unique project, fully leased long before its commissioning, scheduled for the first quarter of 2022. The building will provide 29,000 sqm of the highest quality office space to the market.”
Currently, GTC is the owner and manager of 48 commercial buildings offering over 750,000 sqm of office and retail space in Poland, Budapest, Bucharest, Belgrade, Zagreb and Sofia. In addition, the Group carries out 325 thousand. m2 of retail and office space in the capitals of Central and Eastern Europe, of which 37 thousand. m2 are under construction.
