H&M has opened its largest European store in the Váci 1 building in Budapest. The Swedish retailer leased 5,800 sqm of retail space and 1,300 sqm of offices. Horizon Development, which is the owner of the building, was represented by Cushman & Wakefield in the transaction. Horizon bought the landmark building in 2015 and finished renovating it in May. Located on Vöröstmarty tér, the property is currently 74 percent leased. Horizon hopes to secure BREEAM In-Use certification for the scheme.
