US-based Visteon Corporation sold its 70-percent share in two Halla Visteon Climate Control (HVCC) manufacturing plants in the Czech Republic to the South Korean private equity fund Hahn & Company and Hankook Tire. The value of the transaction was CZK 80.9bn. The Czech branch of HVCC, Halla Visteon Autopal, employs a staff of 1,550 and produces car parts for Ford, Volkswagen, PSA, General Motors, Jaguar Land Rover and Mercedes.
