The Czech food producer Hamé plans to expand to Slovakia through the purchase of a production company, whose name is not being released. The head of Hamé, Martin Štrupl, told the server Lidovky.cz, that the acquisition will enable Hamé to expand the producer’s range of products and that Hamé wants to close the deal by the end of this year.
Hamé has already entered the Romanian market through the acquisition of a local company La Grande Famiglia. The producer of ketchup, jams and pates operates seven production facilities in the Czech Republic.
