Hard Rock International to enter Brazilian market

Orlando-based Hard Rock International has announced plans to build three new facilities in Brazil. The new projects include a 400-room Hard Rock Hotel in Brasilia, developed in conjunction with VCI Holding, a 303-room Hard Rock Hotel in Caldas Novas and a-175 room Hard Rock Hotel in Itapema. Hard Rock International operates venues in 68 countries, including 162 cafes, 23 hotels and 11 casinos.

“As the host of the 2014 World Cup and the upcoming 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil has officially entered the world stage, seeing an increased appeal in international travelers,” said Marco Roca, executive vice president of global hotel development at Hard Rock International. “Brazilians have always been great fans of the Hard Rock brand, and we could not be more excited to announce Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos entrance into the country.”
