Hard Rock International, based in Orlando, has announced plans to build a new hotel in Hartford, CT. The 170-room project will feature a rooftop pool and lounge that will give visitors a view of the Downtown North and Hartford skylines, including the Capital Dome. Other exclusive amenities will include a contemporary Hard Rock Cafe, Body Rock workout facility, a Rock Spa featuring the brand’s signature Rhythm & Motion spa menu and a Rock Shop where fans will be able to purchase merchandise. The new facility is slated for completion in the fall of 2018, though plans for the hotel still have to be approved by the city.
“The collaboration with Hard Rock International is a transformative moment for the redevelopment of Downtown North, and speaks to the strength and viability of the Hartford market,” said Robert Landino, CEO of Centerplan Cos., developers of the Downtown North project.
