Merrifield-Fairfax Medical Campus, a 119,788 square foot asset in Fairfax, Va. has been sold to Harrison Street Real Estate for $62.5 million. Located at 3023 Hamaker Court, the building is near the campus of Inova Fairfax Hospital. The sale included an adjacent site, where a twin 120,000-square-foot second phase has been designed and approved. Built in 2009, the building is 84 percent leased to Children’s National Health System and Pediatric Specialists of Virginia, a venture between Children’s and Inova. Avison Young arranged the sale of the building.
