Commerz Real plans to invest in the USA for the first time since 2007 for Hausinvest, the open-ended property fund. The company acquired the shares in a property situated at 800 Lincoln Road in Miami. Constructed in 1935, the building has been used as museum since the 1980. Commerz Real aims to convert the investment to commercial use again in a project that could add up to 2,500 sqm of useable space to the building. US partner RFR will manage the € 86m project which is expected to take until the middle of 2016.
