Heitman leased a record 18,000 sqm of office space in Bratislava in the first six months of the year, up 3,000 sqm y-o-y. Guy Speir, Heitman’s leasing director, says the leasing team’s high-quality services in conjunction with the overall market revival were the main drivers behind the strong H1 performance. In addition to a slew of new transactions, Speir says many of Heitman’s existing tenants expanded their space, indicating that business confidence is on the rise. Heitman’s Bratislava office portfolio includes BBC5, BBC4, BBC3, Aupark Tower and CEOP. Occupancy in BBC5 jumped from 80 percent to 93 percent in the first half of 2015, while Aupark Tower was fully leased. New tenants include Biogen, Cigler Software, Vema and ING.
