Heitman signed lease contracts on 20,000 sqm this year, bringing occupancy of its Bratislava office properties to 100 percent. Seventy percent of the deals (14,500 sqm) were renegotiations. The city has seen a significant drop in vacancies on its office market this year. Heitman is one of Bratislava’s most prominent landlords, with Aupark Tower, BBC5 and CEOP in its portfolio. Guy Speir, the real estate investment fund’s leasing director, admits that in addition to the highly experienced CBRE asset management team, leasing activity was boosted by strong demand and a revival of the property market.
