Since the beginning of 2019, Hemofarm has invested around €2m to expand its operations in Banja Luka. “There will be significant investments in the coming period towards doubling current capacities. In addition to investing in machinery and manufacturing processes, we also invest in environmental protection. About €1m has been invested in a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment plant and every year we invest additional funds to improve its performance,” said Sasa Urosevic, director of Hemofarm Banja Luka. The company, which is owned by Stada, was established in 2003. It currently employs 185 people and is a leading manufacturer on Bosnia’s drug and medicine market.
