Hemsö acquired a nursing home in Heusenstamm, near Frankfurt, for approximately SEK 220m from Merkur Developing Holding GmbH. The nursing home contains 40 rooms and was completely refurbished and expanded in 2008. The property is being expanded again. Following completion at the end of 2018, the nursing home will offer 131 rooms, including 101 single rooms and 15 double rooms as well as 30 senior apartments. The operator is AWO Hessen Süd.
