Hewlett-Packard to add 560 jobs in Poland

29 May 2012

Nearly 560 jobs could be created in Wrocław and Łodź by the IT giant Hewlett-Packard, which has been studying the two locations for some time now. A decision is due this week, Puls Biznesu daily reports, to extend one of HP’s existing offices in Wrocaław by an additional 322 jobs as well as to open a new branch in the city of Łodź. In all, HP would create 560 new jobs with the project, thanks in part to an EU grant that’s about to receive funding. “Hewlett-Packard is planning further expansion across Poland to provide international business services,” says HP board member Jacek Levernes.
