HIK GmbH broke ground on a factory for electrical cables and electric cabinets near Sanski Most in Zdena, northwestern Bosnia. The German investor is planning to employ 100 people at the site by the end of next year. Completion is planned for January, when production is expected to start, with 50 employees, some of whom are currently being trained in Germany. In second half of 2019, the company is planning to start production on solar systems, which its sister company, HIS, produces.
