A joint venture between Bristol Group and Butters Construction and Development the team is planning a new business park named the Hillsboro Technology center. The 925,000 square foot scheme will be built on the former Deerfield Country Club and sit on 72 acres. The park will include a hotel, warehouse and offices, along with a recreation building and a public park. Construction is scheduled to get underway in the second quarter of the year. The first two industrial buildings, totaling 258,732 square feet, are expected to be finished in early 2016. The rest of the project will be completed within five years.
“Hillsboro Technology Center provides a unique opportunity to build a world class business park on the largest remaining vacant parcel adjacent to I-95,” said Malcolm Butters, president of Butters, who called the new business park the largest new project in Broward Country since the mid-2000’s
