Hillwood Development Company has submitted plans to the city of Jacksonville’s Planning and Development Department for the development of a 1.1 million sqf spec distribution center to be built at the Cecil Commerce Center. The 86 acre site selected for the project will be labeled Lot C, with the building’s footprint designed to occupy 23.34 acres. The scheme calls for 976,716 sqf of warehouse space, 40,084 sqf of office space, and parking for 1,135 vehicles. Dallas-based Hillwood has chosen Prosser Inc as the civil engineer on the project
