Hillwood sells off GE Oil & Gas plant in Jacksonville

Hillwood Investment Properties, part of the Perot Group, has sold the GE Oil & Gas manufacturing plant at Cecil Commerce Center for $57.6 million. The 33.3 acre property located at 12970 Normandy Boulevard includes the 510,000 square foot manufacturing plant. It was purchased by Realty Income Corp., a publicly traded real estate company based in California. The city of Jacksonville hired Hillwood to be the master developer for 4,475 acres the city owns in the former Westside Navy base. Texas-based Hillside has offices in Frankfurt, Germany and Warsaw, Poland.
