Hiring spree by Polish companies continues full throttle

Poland’s labor market continues going on full throttle, the daily Puls Biznesu reports, citing recent figures from Manpower. Up to 90 percent of companies on the Polish market expect to be hiring in the coming months, or stabilizing their staff. The most optimistic data came from Poland’s manufacturing sector, the newspaper writes, which is expected to expand its workforce by 19 percent in the fourth quarter of the year, followed by transport, logistics and communication (+15 percent), and construction (+13 percent). Sentiment also remains positive in the retail, wholesale and public sectors. Poland’s small and micro-businesses businesses are currently witnessing the slowest growth, with just + 6 percent and +2 percent growth in labor expected in the coming months.
