Romanian hydro and thermal insulation manufacturer Arcon has sold the two factories it operates in din Sfântu-Gheorghe and Bucharest to Hirsch Porozell Romania, a member of the Austrian group Hirsch Servo. The transaction has received approval from the Competition Council.
“It is the most important transaction that we have performed so far in Romania.” said the general manager of Hirsch Porozell Romania, Bogdan Roman. “From now on we will be able to serve the market of Romania from four high-capacity production facilities in Cluj Napoca, Timisoara, Bucharest and Sfântu-Gheorghe .” Arcon reported turnover of €28m in turnover in 2015 along with a gross profit of around €2m.
