Hirtenberger Automotive Safety Hungary expanded its Pápa factory in northwestern Hungary. The expansion cost HUF 1.4bn. The company recently secured HUF 346m in EU funding for the project, which included the addition of three new production lines. Hirtenberger intends to create 50 new jobs at the site. Hirtenberger, which manufactures passenger safety systems for automobiles, posted HUF 11.5bn in 2014.
