AEW Europe acquired Maximiliansplatz 13 in Munich from Hochtief Projektentwicklung in a transaction whose price has not been revealed. Now under construction, the building includes an office and storage area of 6,100 sqm, which is leased to the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. The architecture of the scheme complies with monument protection provisions set out for all buildings on the plaza and in downtown Munich.The project has received DGNB Silver pre-certification. Completion is set for 2015.
