A new report from RealtyTrac states that the greater Tampa area was number four in the U.S. for home flipping, accounting for 9 percent of all home sales. The report is based on the top 101 markets with at least 75 single family and condo flips in the third quarter of 2015. A home is considered “flipped” when it’s resold within a 12 month period. The national average for home-flip sales was just 5 percent in the third quarter.
