New listings of existing single-family homes in the desirable Bonita Springs-Estero area rose 30% in December compared with December 2014. Sellers have been encouraged by rising prices, with the average sale price of an existing single-family home rising 3.3% in December to $432,212. Average condo prices rose 10 percent to $342,070. Located between Fort Myers and Naples, the area has seen an influx of businesses and new residents in recent years, including the new Hertz corporate headquarters.
