The average price of rental housing in Spain fell by 0.4 percent y-o-y in September, according to the National Statistics Institute. Prices fell in all regions except Catalonia and the Balearic Islands (0.2 percent), Navarra and Galicia (0.1 percent), and the autonomous city of Melilla (0.5 percent).
The steepest decreases were reported in La Rioja (-2.6 percent), Madrid (-1.1 percent), Valencia and Castilla y León (-0.8 percent), Castilla La Mancha (-0.7 percent) and Murcia, Andalucia and Asturias (-0.5 percent).
