54,781 properties were sold nationwide in June, up 17 percent from the same month last year, according to data from the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Advertising (ANCPI).
Most real estate sales were recorded in June 2021 in Bucharest, Brasov and Ilfov. The counties with the least real estate sold in the same period are Covasna, Calarasi and Caras Severin.
The number of mortgages, at national level, in June 2021, was 24,209, with 3,938 higher than in June 2020. Most such operations were registered in Bucharest, Arad and Timiș. At the opposite pole are the counties of Sălaj, Harghita and Covasna.
