Hornbach is considering leasing a space in Sibiu that was once occupied by OBI. The German DIY company currently operates five stores on the Romanian market, including three in Bucharest, one in Timisoara and one in Brasov. There are several DIY chains that are reportedly interested in signing on at the former OBI location. The property is located along the city’s ring road. Another location vacated by OBI in Bucharest’s Theodor Pallady neighborhood is also looking for a new tenant.
