Hoše komerc, one of Bosnia and Herzegovian’s oldest retailers, will build a new producton plant in 2018 in Sarajevo. Construction has already gotten underway, with completion of the €1.5m facility expected this summer. It will have a capacity of 2 tons of cakes and cookies per day. Production will be highly-automated and will need just 10 employees in order to open. The majority of its production will target the domestic market. Hoše komerc also has wholesale milk production and distribution around the country. Last year it produced a net income of €33.2m.
