22 March 2022

Octavian Lazăr, the shareholder of the Caro Hotels hotel complex on Barbu Văcărescu Street in the northern part of the Capital, said that all the hotel rooms, except those on the renovated floor, are occupied by refugees and businessmen.

“Our hotel is full. If in January we only had an occupancy rate of 40 percent, now we have full. In the first wave, there were refugees from Ukraine who passed through Romania, and now we have the families of those who work in large corporations, but also businessmen. We also offered a 30 percent discount on accommodation,” said Octavian Lazăr.

The complex has a capacity of 188 rooms, two restaurants and 14 conference rooms.
