The Hotel Gat Rossio in central Lisbon has been put on sale and is being marketed exclusively by the real estate agency Worx. The hotel has a contemporary design with minimalist décor that offers a strong focus on comfort and a relaxed environment. Alexandra Torres of Lisbon’s Department of Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure says the hotel is made up of two buildings that total around 2,250 sqm of gross area. The hotel should be expanded to provide a new reception and meeting room for 50 people. “This is a great asset. An excellent opportunity for Worx because there’s great demand for hotels,” she says.
