A 16-story high-rise is in planning for the Sad Janka Krála area in Bratislava’s Petržalka district. The project has been in the works for seven years but was put on hold during the financial crisis. Now the investor, Krasovského, has redesigned the project, which was originally called Bajo, to better suit current market conditions. While the old scheme included a hotel with 160 rooms, the investor has reduced the total volume of the building to fit 142 residential apartments as well as a café and commercial space on the ground floor. The project will be located next to another residential high-rise called Krasovského that was built by the same investor.
