Daniel Křetínský is planning to build a hotel next to the AC Sparta Praha football stadium in Letná-Prague 7. He also wants to rebuild the southern part of the stadium. Hotel Letná will offer 1,400 beds in 485 rooms as well as a congress center and will be operated by an international hotel chain. Křetínský, however, said he will wait to announce the operator’s name until after he secures a planning and construction permit, writes e15. The project also includes the development of a new office component, Administrativní budova Letná, in the southern part of the stadium. Křetínský had originally planned to build a commercial complex, including a shopping center, next to the stadium at the mouth of the Blanka tunnel. Prague 7 Mayor Jan Čižinský says the municipality welcomed the change of plans.
