Hoteli Makarska has merged with Imperial. The new tourism company will now operate under the name Imperial Riviera. Its portfolio, totaling 3,618 accommodation units, includes six hotels, three tourist resorts and two campsites located on Rab and in Makarska. The properties can accommodate 9,000 guests. Imperial Riviera will employ 900 people during the high season, 40 percent of whom will stay on as permanent employees. Valamar Riviera will continue to manage the hotels, resorts and campsites.
