Household borrowing in Estonia rose 7.7 percent in February compared to the same month last year. The increase was driven largely by a 14 percent increase in home loans. Last year saw the total home loan portfolio in Estonia rise to €7.1bn, up 6.9 percent compared to 2016. February 2018 also saw the pace of overdraft and credit card loan growth slow to just 1.7 percent. At the same time, business loans grew at a rapid pace, up 30 percent in February.
