Housing prices in Portugal rebounded 7.6% since 2013

The Residential Price Index for March prepared by Confidencial Imobiliário reveals that prices in continental Portugal increased by 1.2 percent in the 1st quarter of 2016 compared to the same quarter a year ago. Over the first two months of 2016, prices stabilized but the recovery got back underway in March with a rise in prices of 0.9 percent compared to February. Compared to June 2013, prices have risen 7.6 percent nationwide. March was also positive from a year-on-year standpoint with 1.7 percent price growth compared to March 2015, and 3.5 percent growth for the year so far.
