HSF System reports record sales of CZK 2.6 billion and the purchase of a precast concrete production facility for more than CZK 100 million.

International construction group HSF System has achieved consolidated sales of CZK 2.6 billion for 2022, its best result in history. It has newly incorporated the Czech precast concrete manufacturer Ostrožská Nová Ves into its structure, which it bought for more than CZK 100 million. The company’s investment in the Czech Republic was worth CZK 100 million.

HSF System’s consolidated sales for 2022 were up 18.2% year-on-year, and have increased by almost 72% over the last five years. Net profit before tax for 2022 was CZK 147m (EUR 1.5m). The company’s net profit for the year was CZK 147 million. At the end of 2022, HSF System Construction Group employed 171 people in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. “As of the middle of this year, we have already contracted more than CZK 2.5 billion worth of construction projects, so we could expect consolidated revenues approaching CZK 3 billion in 2023,” says Jan Hasík, CEO and Chairman of the Board of HSF System Construction Group.

In June 2023, the HSF System construction group bought the company for more than CZK 100 million. The company incorporated the production of prefabricated structures from Ostrožská Nová Ves into its structure under the name PREFA ONV. The strategic acquisition will bring the HSF System Group a reduced dependence on building materials supplies. “Currently, we will cover about 30% of our needs for prefabricated structures, but we also want to continue to invest in this company and strengthen our production capacity technologically and in terms of personnel to double the current production,” says Jan Hasík, adding: “Thanks to the purchase of PREFA ONV, 26 companies are now part of the HSF System construction group, including the ANTRACIT development group and SK Facility.”

According to the HSF System construction group, which builds not only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but also in other European countries, there is still a high demand for the construction of logistics and industrial facilities in 2023 and investor interest remains despite the high prices of building materials. “We are also continuously seeing increasing customer demands for the use of modern technologies and the digitalization of construction processes. The new emphasis from the investor side is on the environmental sustainability of buildings and their carbon neutrality. We are accustomed to following the European standard for sustainable construction according to BREEAM and DGNB certification. We have now also taken a step towards a better and more sustainable future under ESG certification,” says Tomas Hess, Sales Director and member of the Board of Directors of the HSF System construction group.

In 2023, the HSF System Construction Group is focusing mainly on the creation of a holding structure and the unification of all companies under one umbrella entity, on further company acquisitions, on the development of the entire group including development projects and facility management services, and on the implementation of investment projects in the field of digitalization. “Our strategic goal is to effectively and systematically implement the concept of Construction 4.0 into everyday construction activities from design, through construction, to building maintenance,” adds Tomáš Hess.
