Huawei Technologies, a Chinese telecommunications equipment maker, wants to help one of its partner companies establish a manufacturing base in Hungary. Gavin Dai, CEO of Huawei Technologies Hungary, said representatives of the partner company will come to Hungary in October to seek out investment opportunities. According to Dai, Hungary is a key production center for the company’s European network. Huawei has been active in Hungary since 2004 and has invested about €50m over the past eight years.
