A HUF 1 bn investment in the form of a historical park will be realised in Ópusztaszer, according to an announcement by the Hungarian government. The historical park located north of Szeged, will provide a summary of the Hungarian history and it’s intended for the facility to become a place for national remembrance. Currently the park provides information about the settlement of the Magyars, but this will be expanded in the future with an up-to-date representation of Hungarian history. Planned to be highly interactive, providing societal as well as historical information, the investment will start at the beginning of 2013 and will be finished in 2014.
