Hungargian automotive sector output down 19.8% in March

Hungaryʼs automotive sector output decreased 19.8 percent y-o-y in March after a number of manufacturers suspended production amid the coronavirus pandemic, according to the Central Statistics Office (KSH). Vehicle production decreased by 28 percent, while parts manufacturing fell by 13.1 percent. The sector made up roughly 26 percent of the country’s total manufacturing output for the month.
