2 October 2020

Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban has announced that the Hungarian borders will remain closed until at least the end of October. This means that only Hungarian citizens and residents can enter the country, and also those travelling to Hungary on business purposes. Those permitted to travel into Hungary from a “red” or “yellow” country (marked as high infection rate) will have to provide 2 negative Covid-19 tests or be subject to a 10 day quarantine. The Covid-19 tests in Hungary have been capped at 55 euros per test.
