Hungary’s construction output grew by 18.5 percent y-o-y in January, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Building construction increased by 32.8 percent, while civil engineering works fell by 3 percent. Growth in building construction was primarily driven by the industrial sector. There was also a rise in new sports and educational buildings. The production of specialized construction activities, meanwhile, grew by 24.2percent, according to KSH.
