Construction output in Hungary increased by 22.3 percent y-o-y in 2018, according to data released by the Central Statistical Office. Construction producer prices were also up on average by 9.5 percent y-o-y. Building construction output was up 14.8 percent in December, while civil engineering works grew by 21.9 percent. Construction prices increased by 2.3 percent in the last quarter of 2018, according to the data.
