Hungarian GDP grows 2.6% in Q2

The Hungarian economy grew 2.6 percent y-o-y in the second quarter, according to the Central Statistical Office. The country’s industrial sector grew by 3.9 percent during the three-month period, while manufacturing rose by 3.7 percent and agriculture increased by 13 percent y-o-y. The construction sector, however, fell by 24 percent, with civil engineering reporting the biggest drop.
