The Hungarian government is investing HUF 25bn (€80.5m) into the construction of a new complex for the Budapest Zoo. Called Pannon Park, the new investment will be build on a 6.5 ha plot next to the zoo. The project will include a biodome displaying what life was like in the Carpathian Basin millions of years ago. Pannon Park is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.
