Hungarian government program targets citizens abroad

23 April 2015

In an effort to encourage Hungarian residents living abroad to come home, the country’s economy ministry is offering relocation incentives. In the first round of funding, the ministry is spending €333,000 to relocate 50 young Hungarians living in London. The government is targeting graduates, who have spent at least one year abroad, speak English fluently and are willing to return to the country for a stable job with decent pay. The new government program is also helping participants set up a business in Hungary.
